If you are working to improve the environmental performance of the railways, and you don’t know where to start, then its time to find out what you can do to take action.

With staff and passenger welfare becoming a more pressing priority for the railways, attention is now focusing on air quality, its causes, and what targeted actions can be taken to improve it. A range of stakeholders from across the railways are coming together on the 27th March at the the RSSB (Rail Safety and Standards Board) in London for a morning of knowledge sharing and debate.

If your role covers the environment, sustainability, health and safety, or innovation, then this is the event for you. It will be a in workshop format. As well as speakers from HS2 Limited and Network Rail, you will get to see data from a case study in Birmingham New Street.

You will also get valuable time to network and meet like-minded people, and discuss ways to best target your actions and investment in mitigation. With inspiration from real life examples.

Whilst the lessons are from Birmingham, its application is industry-wide. You will learn about the new technologies and solutions being deployed that are flexible and scalable across the railway.
